Painting Practice
I'll get back to catching up soon, but I thought I'd post these quick practice digital paintings. Each was probably an hour, though I didn't keep good track. I'd say they're not too bad; a little more practice and I'll be ready for color!

These are nice Irene. I would say on the second one the hair should be grouped into more of a local value. Right now the individual strands don't feel like they relate to each other as the same body of hair. It also makes it feel a bit noisy. Bringing the values together could calm it down. The face structure on both reads very well though :D
I agree with the hair, came out kinda noodly.
